I eat time

Stan Loona

I eat time,
with ketchup on top.
Rip apart meat of minutes,
swallowing one by one.
I eat moments,
short and long,
green beans,
cheese and mashed potatoes
make for a great lunch.

I eat the present,
pluck brussel sprouts from their years
and decades.
I ate the past,
with a light sprinkle of salt on top.
Tomorrow, I will eat the future.

But for now,
it's
 all
  about
   the
    milk.
